Copying in Design

I find it very sad indeed when people who claim to be 'designers' copy other designers work. I woke up this morning to an email from a lovely girl telling me she had come across a poster which seemed suspiciously like mine...

The internet is such an amazing tool to find inspiration, connect with other design influences and find resources but there is always the few people who take advantage. This copy was produced by a 'graphic designer' in Dan Diego and whilst it's flattering to think she liked the design enough to copy it, it's never an acceptable thing to do.

I love that the internet allows us to share and inspire each other and although it also makes it easier for those few people to copy others, it also makes it easier to find them!
